The new W B Yeats Ferry, which will serve on the Dublin/Cherbourg route from this summer ... the German company doing the refit has flagged possible late delivery ... so bookings on several sailings (mid July) have been cancelled ... ours included.
Quite chaotic for some, I would imagine ...
I've re-booked an outward leg using Stenna Line from Rosslare to Cherbourg ... and, hopefully will return on the W B Yeats in September.
Irish Ferries have offered re-booking with the nearest possible date (which probably won't suit many), or a full refund ... and 150 euros off 2019 bookings,
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
We were cheaper using Stena anyway. 9 weeks to go....
------------- Hypercamp Alaska
Vango Force 10 mk3
Vango F10 Helium 1
Coleman Cobra Pro 3
Coleman Cobra 2
Naturehike Star River 2
Eureka! Solitaire
Dutch army goretex bivvy bag
The only downside with the stena boat is if there are cattle on board. It can get a bit whiffy. I'm not one for entertainment and we have one of the suites so that is ok.

Irish Ferries have re-routed our booking: Now on the OW from Rosslare 24 hours later than the WBY booking from Dublin .... so, not too bad a compromise.
That's not too bad. Kelper. Where are you travelling on to in France? We are heading to Loire Valley first and then Dordogne. First time in both locations and also first time sailing on this route (Dublin to Cherbourg) 😁
We store our caravan near Angers ... so collect it there, then get it serviced in Cholet ... then head down for a day at relations place in the Charente (so that I can set up and balance etc) ... then head off to wherever the sun shines brightest.
Expect to start near Figeac for about ten days ... then will be weather dictated.
We never book ... just stop/start as we like/dislike or sun/rain forecasts. We do have a couple of months though ... so are able to be pretty flexible.
We got an email Tuesday to say that our 8th August return was cancelled. ( sail out on the Oscar Wilde )Finally got through to Irish Ferries and now sail back on Oscar Wilde. Surprised that I was given a choice of several sailings that same week.
