we are currently at Camping de la Citadelle, Loches. Nice site, two pools, one covered, 10-15 minute walk into what is a very pleasant little town with plenty to see, cafés and restaurants. decent size pitches and 10 amp electric.

I’ve noted the site at Combrit Sainte Marine as one to visit for our Brittany tour, whether this holiday or another time, thanks Ewen.
We actually stayed at Camping de la Citadelle at Loches last year and agree that it is a good campsite in an attractive little town. While there we went out on our bikes on a Sunday afternoon and stumbled across the French equivalent of an outdoor tea dance, complete with accordion player - we were spectators only, but it was definitely an experience!
