We're not in France at the moment, but the weather at home in Yorkshire is hot and humid............and we've got a lot of gardening done. Last week we were in Abersoch with three of our grandchildren, including an eighteen month old for the first weekend, then the two older ones for the rest of the week and had really beautiful weather for almost the whole week!
I'm sorry for anyone in wet weather at the moment, and I hope it all improves for you.

In San Pere Pescador,Bay of Roses, wet all day yesterday, today dawned with blue skys and hot sun, though forecast is for storms and showers ,so dont know how long it will last.off to beach now, taking sun brolly in case of rain.lol
We have stayed so long at Oliva, avoiding all the nasty weather in France and Spain, that I have managed to negociate changing from ACSI to a wrinkly rate of €10.50.
€6 a night cheaper, wall to wall sunshine, free wi-fi and cheap food and wine.
It is enough to believe that there is heaven on earth

Perhaps you are at the Aquarius camp site? We are a little north of you and at the moment enjoying sunny weather before we venture into France.

We noticed that every afternoon at about 4pm it started to cloud over. Not sure if this is a regular thing or not?

Has anyone got a reliable(!) weather forecast for the next 4 weeks in France? All I see are storm warnings and the France map doesn't look too inviting!

They are not getting it right on a daily basis right now, or even hour by hour so you are seeking the impossible.
You need to start in the Pacific Ocean with the sea temperatures, and work across America during the present hurricane season and interlink with both the gulf and jet streams coupled with land mass warming and cooling over Europe. Take into consideration Polar melt water and the calculation is simple enough - facile as they say in France.
There will be some rain and some sun with orages from time to time, just not necessarily in that order. Hope that helps?
We've done the unthinkable and cut our holiday short because of the widespread inclement weather. We've been chasing our tails for the last week and a half and just been in storm after storm.
It was just unreal to come back to the UK and find it dry with blue skies!
We're thinking of heading for Wales in the next day or two. Don't mind if it's not hot, so long as it stays dry and bright.
The weather in 'our' village in the Aude this year has been the wettest and 'strangest' that most people remember............! It does seem to be one of those years when following the sun just isn't possible, because it's disappeared completely!

We have been over here 9 days so far. The weather forecast has been wrong the whole time saying it was going to be wet with thunderstorms all the time. In fact we have had 8 glorious hot days and about 4 nights of thunderstorms. We have been in Oberweis and in Burgundy for last 5 days. Heading south tomorrow and ignoring forecasts
We’ve driven down from Reims to near Orange today. No rain and mostly sunshine on the way down. Very humid though and very hot in the sun at the moment. The clouds are building though...
Paul and Julie, yes the weather forecasting has been interesting. This morning rain in Frejus (thoroughly enjoyed my browse around decathlon and shop in the Carrefour) the afternoon spent on an empty dog friendly beach... what could be better?
