32 sleeps before we head off to Provence.......it’s been a blooming long time coming (booked 2 years ago, had to postpone last summer because of work complications) and I cannot wait, so I want wall to wall sunshine please!

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
Just back from Camping La Pointe in Brittany. The weather was dull and wet at the start of the week, but has been baking since Wednesday. The good weather is set to continue, both in Brittany and back in England. Have a great time those of you heading over to France in the next week or so.
------------- 2019 trips booked so far:
Easter - Red Shoot, New Forest
May - Secret Campsite, Sussex

Yep Amanda, July 2015 when we're last here in France, nice drive from Chalon Sur Saone, down to Salon de Provence today.
The hotel is a lot quieter than it was in July 2015, only 4 cars in the car park including mine.
Needless to say we had no problem getting a table in the Campanile restaurant, for what can only be described as an outstanding meal.
We aim to get to the campsite in Frejus for 11am tomorrow morning, ACSI CampingCard at the ready!
Have a fabulous time! We’re off to just outside Nyons. First time in that area, normally we go to the Ardeche side of the Rhône.

Hope all goes well for you - Mont Saint Michel looked stunning as ever earlier this month, whether looming out of the mist or sparkling in the sunshine! Did you get your train troubles sorted, by the way?

We will know if they are running on Wednesday. We may have to change to a Friday train with an extra day in Cherbourg as the strike is going ahead on Thursday. The oui/sncf app should keep us right.
Rucksacks all packed and ready to go...
Well, we changed our train. Cost an extra 20 euro and we will miss out on a day in Coutances. Looks like we will be walking up to see the liberation museum and bunkers in Cherbourg.
