I'll let you read it for yourself but basically, the New Spanish Government are taking back control of some 'Peage' roads in Spain in the future.
Whether they charge us 'foreigners' (as we will be) is another matter.

If they tale the toll booths down it will be free to all drivers. Removing tolls from the AP7 will certainly be welcome.

This is not something new having been married and spending a lot of time in Spain it has always been the Spanish governments way of getting roads built.

They give the contract to a developer and allow them to run the road as a toll when built for a certain period to pay for it, you will notice in the article it states that contracts are coming to an end.
