Last minute request incase anyone has good favourite site - presently en route to French alps & looking for convenient caravan site, up to half hour south of Calais/A26 - will be quick stopover, nothing fancy required, just clean, thanks!

Ferme des Aulnes is on the A16 in the opposite direction, unfortunately.

Camping Beausejour at Arques just south of St Omer, with easy access just off the A16 and ST Omer bypass.

Camping St Louis is 30mins from the Tunnel/ferries, just north of St Omer.

Just come home with our last stop being Camping St. Louis. Nice clean site, but the pitches can be a bit tight. It gets really busy, so probably best to book.

we always start and end our trips at Campping La Bien Assise in Guines. It's an easy trip to there from A26 to the Alps, we do it every other year :D

Mind you we then stop at Lac d'orient and at the central campsite in Dole before reaching Talloires
