Has anyone been to the above site in Mazzaron?
We have been spending winter in Spain at a different campsite for the last couple of years and want to try another campsite.
Any comments???????

We have spent the last two winters at the Los Escullos campsite which we chose because we liked the look of the write up and we were not disappointed. It was exactly what we were looking for. This year we decided to try somewhere different but when you have been that lucky the first time it's........
We were looking at the inland Mazzaron site which looked good and wondered if anyone had any thoughts on it.
Obviously (to us anyway) money comes into the equation, we were paying 11 euros 70 per night for a three month stay at Los Escullos.
We were at Los escullos for three weeks over last Christmas and new year, a good site but a bit far from the supermarket and nothing in walking distance to be fair. I start my look thru ACSI and other site books to plan this winters trip, only definite I have so far is Cadiz from mid January, we have a pitch booked at Los escullos from mid December for a month but probably not going to go there, will look around. Good luck with your search.

Calpemar, Calpe is a fantastic site and location to spend the winter. Less than 5 minute walk to prom with lots of restaurants, markets, harbour, great town all on the doorstep. But book early as pitches soon get taken. Also lots of great places to visit inland.
We used to travel and tour over the winter months then found this fab place. We love it then have rest of the summer to explore France etc.
------------- Be kind, be happy.

Dillydom, thanks for the info, have just booked although they had few pitches available after early Jan by which time we'll be heading for Cadiz so it worked out well.
