Anyone have knowledge of this site? The location suits me for September. Google reviews are very mixed and I can't find anything on this site (unless I haven't searched properly). Looks like a biggish French run site with all pitches serviced and prices very reasonable.
A lot of mentions about dirty toilets/shower block, which doesn't worry me as I have one of these modern caravans with it's own washroom, so I choose to use it. I don't expect to encounter noisy brats during September, so I might chance it. Any reports would be welcome.

We've stayed here a couple of years ago. Good stop-off; and very convenient for Futuroscope. As its next door to a leisure lake, it's used by local groups when there's competitions on. It's very French that way! Very much a leisure resource, that we don't really see over here.
When we were there it was spotless, and there were well behaved groups there. Also a handy snack bar by the lake. I'd be in line to go for it.
Thanks morepints. I've looked at Futurescope and it's not for us. We like to travel about a bit and visit interesting places, chateaus, etc, as long as it's not too hot. We could be there for three weeks as once we've set up, I find it tiresome to pack up and go through the same process somewhere else. I've been offered a good deal if I book for three weeks. There's other places around but as we use our own facilities, shower etc, an all service pitch is a big advantage, so I think I'll go for it. cheers.
Any other opinions welcome.

For the money it is an excellent site. We stayed for 3 nights and wished we had stayed longer. Most likely going to stay for a week in August this year. That is not a reflection on the site, just that I can only take a few weeks off work and we have plans for other visits to keep children busy!
The only downside is that it is not in an immediately touristy area so local shops etc are not as endearing.
There are comments about very shady pitches, and I would just add that, for us, with the shorter September days too much shade can make for a somewhat gloomy stay.

I was thinking that myself, Val.
The other aspect is the public beach on the other side of the hedge.
I was kept awake all night once at Le Hallerais in Brittany by a French party - I think their young people are as inconsiderate as ours can be.
I'm still looking as I don't see any need to book for September.
