We always try and find sites that have British Families for my son to find friends, but not totally British. The sites we've been to have a fair selection of Brits, French, Dutch & German. In the Dordogne i recommend Le Grottes Du Roffy near Sarlat and La Palombiere also near Sarlat. English around, not loads though.

And by the way, we live in La Rochelle... Not a lot of Brits there but feel free to contact me if you want advice on this part of France !
We are down that way in September at Chatelaillon Plage for two weeks.
