Hi were going to Lake Garda next week. it will be our first trip abroad for over 14 years so please forgive me!!
We are sailing Dover-Calais and staying overnight in Luxemburg and then another at Fussen and then the final day the Fern Pass, Brenner and onto Garda.
My question to the experienced travellers is do I need to buy any vignette or anything in advance for this route?
I've got a bag containing bulbs, first aid kit, breathaliser, bulbs, high viz x4, fire extinguisher, triangle. I've also bought beam adjusters (need a degree to understand the instructions) and gb stickers. I will take v5, passports and ehic cards, insurance and recovery info. what have I missed?
Thanks all

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
The vignette can be ordered on line see here, which avoids having to queue at the border, but can also be bought in situ. You need one to use Swiss motorways ... if you plan to avoid motorways, you don't need one.
Insurance-wise just ensure you have both car and caravan insurance, or make sure you car insurance covers your caravan, too ...
And Travel Insurance (optional) may be something you want, or may already have.
You do't need a breathalyser ... though no harm carrying one ... no-one will ask to see it.
You will need an Austrian vignette on that route, not a Swiss one. You can buy at the border or at German petrol stations approaching the border - 9 euros for ten days cover, or 26.20 euros for two months.
