Looking to buy some myself! It seems much cheaper to buy the annual cover than than the short-term cover. (£120 short-term v £85 for the annual) I even went through the C&CC and that was extortionate.
Currently I am looking at Green Flag as theirs seems to come with caravan cover as standard. Used a Price comparison website.
be careful with green flag if your cravans export length is over 7m. they will not repatriate it.
same goes for the AA
i have AA cover but have to organise single trip breakdown cover for my caravan because the AA will not repatriate my caravan if necessary.
the only companies i found were RAC arrival and Red pennent.
red pennent is provided by green flag but unles you use red penennt green flag will not repatriate....i asked them and they said they do not, only via the CMCC.
with they are both extortionate for anual cover.
i get my cover through Eurocamp independant
this costs £65 for 15 nights.
who ever they use, will repatriate my 7.5m long caravan (this is not body length thats 5.8M thats 7.5m total length)
the company underwriting this is ERV

Ive got a single cover policy with Eurobreakdown.com. They also cover longer caravans. Great price and cover. Can't comment further as I haven't used it and I'm hoping I don't!
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
Was about to buy Red Pennant but I was casually looking through my latest service record for my Volvo (tow car) and with the servicing also comes 12 months recovery to include Euro coverage and caravan repat if needed. Saved myself a few quid there!!
