Hi,
we are off to France in our small motor home, are the electric hook-up's at the French camp site the same cable fittings as we use in the uk.

Some are the blue plug we're used to. Older installations may still need a two pin adaptor which you can buy from most accessory shops

Mostly the blue commando style. You may come across the French two-pin round sockets; they are becoming more rare. Towsure have the adapter, like the one below, listed for £4.50 (You might well find your campsite has one to borrow, but I guess if you're worried you'l want your own.)
