So we find ourselves doing a last minute booking in the height of the school hols . Camping Penboch pretty much ticks all the boxes (ie nice pool area, but not all singing and dancing), but wow is it expensive. Any other gems that wont break the bank, please shout.
Also any top things to do in the area ? we will have bikes with us.
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
Have a look at Camping de la Baie and Camping de la Plage (sister sites sharing a shop/takeaway/bar on the beach) between La Trinite and Carnac. Lovely beaches, lovely walks/cycling, marina at La Trinite which is fabulous for people watching, supermarkets nearby. Camping de la Plage is the smaller of the two sites, plenty of things going in but not manic! Auray/Vannes recommended for a day out, also boat trips to the islands in the gulf etc from La Trinite.
