It’s temps hitting early forties. In a very nice gite on an all French complex, it’s beautiful . There is a huge pool and a magnificent windmill that works!
Never been to this side of France before but will certainly come again. Gite was reasonably priced aswell.
The French are very friendly and it’s a very family orientated place . But there is night life 10 mins walk away should you require it.
I think I have found the place I want to retire to, only 30 more years graft to go!!!

Yes that’s the one, there are hundreds of butterflies aswell inside and outside of the gite. Very tranquil and they land on you all the time !

Wow just looked at the rates, we are just back from 12 nights in Frejus, total campsite fees came to £156!

Looks great, but, at well over 80 euros a day in high season, it doesn't make it an attractive proposition for us.
Camping Le Clapas, just outside Vallon, offers much better value ... IMHO

But the OP is staying in a Gite - a rather different proposition to using your own accommodation on a campsite.
Our family are currently all in two gites near Collonges la Rouge in the Dordogne, and we're camping in the field. They have two bathrooms in each gite, a downstairs toilet, a huge fridge, hot and cold water on tap, proper beds with supplied bedding and towels, garden furniture, pool 'toys', a bamboo grove for cool shade, fruit trees, a pool to themselves, and they're paying for it. It's significantly more than the OP has quoted............. and personally I think that looks a lovely setting if you want to choose a gite holiday.

80 Euros a day in high season is very cheap. We’re paying far more than that currently, but on the upside we have a large heated pool to ourselves, stunning views, three huge bedrooms all with ensuites, and an extra loo, the biggest American fridge freezer with icemachine I’ve ever seen, and all mod cons provided. Not a soul for miles and we can see eagles and bats soaring over the valley below. Horses for courses, but gites are great for us and our three teens right now. We have very good reasons for not being able to go to a campsite with communal pool these days, so much prefer this sort of holiday for now.

Couldn't agree more ... for two/three weeks.
Problem is, we are away for nine weeks, and those sort of prices just aren't sustainable for a long stay(s).
On winter breaks we wouldn't think twice about those sort of prices for a couple of weeks in hotels/apartments/villas/gites/boats etc.
