Hi I am thinking of going to Vilanova and driving from Bilbao has anyone done this and if so are there many mountain passes to go over or very steep inclines. I have a Bailey Orion 530-6 towed by a Honda CR-V 2:2 Diesel? Cheers John

Hi
Yes it's the one by Sitges but just wary if it's up and down mountains
Cheers John
It will be, but your outfit seems well matched, so you should be OK.
As it is motorway, heavy lorries use it, so you should be OK.
I haven't done this particular route, but have driven from Bilbao to Nerja, and no problems. Stick to the motorway.

I drove that road last year and heading back along it in a couple of weeks. One of the easiest tows I have done and I am not that experienced. A few hills but similar to the M6 just a lot quieter!
Cheaper diesel in the smaller service stations.
Have a great trip.
Vilanova may be a lovely park in June but can be cold in winter as most pitches are in the shade, the Dutch seem to occupy the sunnier parts of the site. Good local transport from the site gate though
