We have been to La Croix du Vieux Pont 5 times in the last 12 years and love it. I think you would love it too if the following holds any importance:
Not too much driving French side (approx 2 hrs)
You have kids and need to occupy them (too many things to mention here)
Close to Disney land for the little "rascals" (50 Min drive)
Close to Reims
Great onsite food and drink
It is worth noting that the site also houses many canvas and eurocamp mobile homes so attracts that kind of family crowd (how we discovered it in the first place) but with the weather on your side it is a perfect place to go..It even has a man made beach and sea!

We've been twice. first time was out of season in a static with Eurocamp - lovely hedged pitch and great facilities for young children. We stayed in our tourer though and it was terrible. the pitches were poorly drained and not marked out or separated in any way. The facilities were not kept clean and it was busy and noisy. Kids liked the pool, but they are not very discerning.
Two very different opinions! We’re going for the first time this year it’s great to have recommendations, where else in that area/ further toward Brittany is good? We want activities for the children but not too noisy/ busy
He's try " camping du Letty" its one we are weighing up for next year but may head further south.

That vid looks great
I didn't have the same issues as dolly but nowhere is perfect. This year we went during the heat wave so drainage was not an issue. It sounds like we both agree that going via eurocamp or similar is a good option
Enjoy France...it's a great place to visit and so very underrated!

Interesting to read, and only Dolly has done any site reviews.
Come on guys, reviews are easy to write and a lot of UKCS members rely on them.
Agree, it really helps choosing one that will suit

Camping de la Plage.
But the whole of the Gulf of Morbihan is lovely - relatively sheltered so when you do get good weather it is very good. Beautiful beaches and amazing sunsets and loads to do for children and adults. If you stay here take them to a market in Vannes or Auray - it's an education about food in itself!
