Hi all I was hoping you might help.

There is potentially a group of 5 families wanting to go to France next year (anywhere from Normandy to Vendée) however we all have different requirements.
A couple of us will camp (bring our own creature comforts) one will have a touring caravan but some will not do either of these things and either want a Safari tent, static caravan or holiday apartment (any of those) but their budget does not stretch to Eurocamp prices £1700 per week in August).

So does anyone know any sites where we can all get on but the other families can rent their accomodation directly from the site (usually a lot cheaper) rather than from eurocamp or similar?

Many thanks for your help.

Lots of campsites, even some municipal sites, offer theiin own accommodation. We're planning a similar thing for next year, with our children and grandchildren, one caravan, one tent and two mobile homes. We're looking further south though and had a look around a site we'll probably use earlier this week.

Have a look at the search section on UKCS, find sites in your areas, and then look at the site websites where they usually display details of accommodation available

You give no clue as to what sort of area you are looking for ...

Beach, river, lake, town, country, cycling, mooching, hiking, shopping, culture, etc.

I'm in the Marais Poitevin at a good three star site, has safari style tents, gypsy caravans (old fashioned), mobile homes, and lots of sites for tents, caravans, mobile homes etc

It's right on the Marais canal system, hires boats and bikes on site ... or bring your own ... within 45 mins of La Rochelle and Niort ... 30 mins to the sea ... lots of cycle paths ... but that floats my boat () ... no idea what you are seeking!
