we have visited Le Grand Metarie near the standing stones at carnac but only for a couple of nights.
its a huge site, it just goes on and on. there are areas a-z with perhaps 20 pitches or statics in each (so maybe 520 pitches) . but from what i saw the facilities are scaled up to serve the largenumber of pitches. the swimming pools were big 2 in door 1 out dooor and a searate lazy river and there were a few water slides all be it a bit tame compared to what my sons are used to.
if you have teenage kids though the evening entertainment would impress. there is , a blues bar, function room for quiz nights etc, a restaurant, a takaway, a amusement arcade, a cinema, a night club, an icecream parlour, a place with trampolines open until late.
there are shepherd huts,and even tree houses to rent if thats your thing.
however, it isnt within walking distance of the beach.
there are lots of reviews on trip advisor about the place, most good some not so....
