I fail to see what difference Brexit will make to my holiday in France ... Possibly a couple of minor admin issues (visa?, IDP?, Restriction on amount of wine we can bring back?).
That could be why a lot of people will stop going

We have booked our ferry and plan to book our main stay sites shortly. If there are any administrative extras after Brexit we will just do whatever we have to. At the end of the day, if the EU decided to make it too complicated for Brit’s to go to the continent on holiday then I would suspect that the bottom would fall out of the EU travel industry as Brits make up such a large proportion of holidaymakers.

We never book more than a few weeks in advance and 2019 is still a couple of months away. For various reasons, we'll probably put off taking the van abroad till autumn, but fly off somewhere in early spring. Being retired, we can be pretty flexible when it comes to timing. That's as much planning as we do.
------------- Two drifters off to see the world.
I'm tired of reality, so I'm off to look for a good fantasy.
We will be going over to France sometime in early/mid June for 4 to 6 weeks stopping as usual at Aires wherever we happen to go.
With the Tunnel crossing costs all being taken care of by our Tesco Club Card points, I hope there won't be any changes in the amount of wine we can bring back with us.
This year we made a point of only stopping on free Aires and in so doing we stopped on some right hum dingers that also had proper toilets, free water and free electricity!
------------- There is a great World to be found out there, but by the very day, to find where it is becomes more of a challenge!

Steady on there,.......
A colleague of mine worked at the Ports Unit at Dover several years ago and they noticed a specific motorhome travelling back and forth on a weekly basis..Lovely middle aged couple with a Yorkshire terrier ...Nothing seemed suspicious until they checked the ''long range drinking water tank'' slung underneath the van...It was full of cheap French brandy!!!!! It had a filler neck built into the side of the van and a drain cock at low level to decant into bottles...Great idea while it lasted !
So becareful if you choose to bring back extra allowance after Brexit...
I just wish Brittany Ferries, my favourite, would extend their service to Cape Town, just an over nighter would be awesome!
Amazing scenery, amazing and amazingly cheap food and wine, freindly attentive people, great roads for those tourers. Just don’t let your dogs swim in the sea, 😳🦈🦈

Our crossing on the Armorique is already booked for next June! Minor things are not going to upset our holiday plans.
Let's not pretend it's the EU making things difficult, it's Britain that made this decision. I'm sure we'll just be treated the same as any other non EU tourist, and any restriction on what we can import will be a choice of our government.
I do see the potential return of duty free shopping on ferries though?
