2 adults travelling in a motorhome via eurotunnel.
We have a week off between Christmas and new year and are considering visiting Paris (never been before), but struggling to find a campsite which is both open and which is near a train station serving Paris.
Has anyone got any suggestions I can look up?

You could try Camping International at Maison Lafitte. Easy walk to station although I'm not sure if the site is open all year. EDIT. Just noticed it closed 3rd November........sorry.

Not the answer you're looking for I know, but I would take the car and stay at one of the wealth of cheap hotels in Bussy-Saint-Georges, which is 2 stops from the Disney end of the RER A line to Paris. Bussy-Saint-Georges has loads of hotels for Disney, there should be some bargains to be had in January.
30 mins to Gare De Lyon in Paris by train, right beside Marne La Vallee shopping metropolis Val d'Europe and 30 miles drive to Fontainebleau. Plus Disney if you feel inclined.

we arrived on 1t and left on 8th. Stayed on Ille de cite & whilst we heard some problems on the 1st, we weren't involved, despite being able to see one of the marches from the living room window of our apartment, we felt perfectly safe. I'd go back again tomorrow if I could afford it
