If it has the HID or LED headlights you should be able to switch beam pattern using menu on display panel.
Your handbook will probably be in German, fine if you can read it! If not you can probably get english one from dealer or online!

You had you OH put through an MOT test and he/she passed ?

A mott is a mound with a keep on top built by Normans after the conquest, as in mott and baily castle. Surprised your camper van has a large mound on top.

In case anyone wants to look it up in Wikipedia (other websites are available) it's a motte & bailey. Mott & baily are good names for a dog or cat though.
