I phoned this morning to renew my membership, been a member years never had any bother renewing. I tried the Regensburg office, the lady on the phone told me I needed to phone the Munich office, phoned them and they said they were unable to do it by card over the phone and she would email me a form to complete with my details, that was nearly 4 hours ago, not received it yet!

We phoned just a few days ago and renewed ours without a problem. I think the issue is that one person deals with UK subscriptions and if she isn't in you may get wrong information. You need to speak to Ann-Katrin Zintl at the Regensberg office - and you can pay by card.

Don't know what went wrong with ours, spent £23 on the phone doing it over several days, eventually they took my card details in Regensburg, said they needed to send them to Munich and a receipt came through a week or so later in the post. Will be sending an email next year that's for certain!

I always do mine by email to Regensburg Office by Card and no problems.

Nearly 10 years ago I negotiated with ADAC for an office that could deal with British Membership which is as below.
Not many ADAC Offices can take payment by Debit/Credit Card as German Nationals cannot make payment this way.
Due to different set up of British Banks we cannot pay by Bank Transfer to a German Bank.

The correct telephone for renewing is Regensburg Office 00-49-94-15-23–44
Due to there only being one phone line into this office which is extremely busy as dealing with ADAC Shop with goods for sale, Travel Agents and Breakdown you might have great difficulty in getting through to Amanda or Ann-Katrin. Sending an email to both of the girls addresses is the best way and should one be on leave the other one will deal with your request. They will send email to you with relevant questions on for you to return by email to them.


There are only two Ladies in the Regensburg Office who deal with ADAC Breakdown.
Amanda Moser-Wickles and her assistant Ann-Katrin Zintl
