Just learnt of the news, that the 90 lorries involved in today's test down near Dover, each driver got paid £550 for the day, nice work if you can get it and at that rate I am surprised that more did not turn up.
It is surprising that only 89 turned up at £550 each because they had actually booked 150 lorries. At 150 it is apparently 1/60th of the actual traffic expected. They also did not wait to enter the port. I think it was just a token gesture that cost £48k

Not likely,if there are no border problems I would go Fishguard/Rosslare from choice,I live in Somerset but was planning a trip to Scotland for a couple of weeks before that's why I quoted Edinburgh but that has now been kicked into touch due to unforseen circumstances.
