Already near Malaga in South of Spain but thanks to EasyJet not the caravan as that’s 2000 miles by road. Shortening the Scottish weather by a month and not heading to France till May.
No plans but depending on the weather it might be south of France or even a bit into Spain. French cost of living is a bit dearer than Spain unfortunately. My French is ok but Spanish is only as good as coffee and beer, that’s the only down side.
Deal or no deal, continental caravaning will always be first choice for us and anyway, the Caravan lives in France and only moves when we haul it about.
Bon Vacances mes amis.

We are at the Portuguese lands ends at the moment it's a lot warmer than Spain I have now got my coat off. I think there is more Brits here than Portuguese nearly everyone is a Brit. I can see why the Brits flock here warm sunny weather no traffic empty sites.
We'll be to north Spain in late July .... then wander along the north coast all the way round to Santiago de Compostela ... assuming the weather is OK ... might dive into the Picos for a few days at Potes ...
Then, probably back to France end of August for a few weeks, and the mandatory end in the Marais Poitevin.
In December we had a few days in Bruges in the motor home. At twixtmas we visited friends staying at the village pub in the motor home. In January we did a couple of over nighters in Stratford upon Avon and the wife spent a week at Whitemead Forest Park in the Forest of Dean.
We too are waiting for warmer weather and have booked the tunnel for July but I must admit I do enjoy getting away in the winter. As my dad used to say when I was a kid “There is no such thing as being bored. Only being boring!”
And as my sign off says - it’s only an expensive hobby when it’s parked on your drive. 😀
