As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.

Why don't you organise the Titre test yourself, it's easy enough to do.
I have just done it with one of our dogs, here is the breakdown of cost;
Vet draws blood £10.42
Special Delivery post £1.77
Titre test £66.00
Total £78.19
In case.
can you give me a link to where you sent the titre test, so that I can look into this please
Just seen our vet to see what the position is. One of ours had her Rabies vaccine back when there had to be a blood test a month later to confirm the vaccine had worked. Evidently so long as all subsequent Rabies Jabs were delivered on time she shouldn’t need to be re-tested - vet ringing DEFRA to confirm. In which case she can travel anytime.
The other one only had his Rabies jab last year. He can be tested anytime. Once the result comes back if the antibodies haven’t reached a particular threshold you must re-vaccinate, wait a month and re-test. On receipt of a successful test they then have to wait 3 months from the date of the bloods before they can travel.
All the above is only in the case of ‘no deal’. In the remaining possible outcomes of the farcical “B” word debacle it would be business as usual:-
I.e. we leave with a deal or
Article 50 is postponed pending further negotiations toward a settlement.
Clear as mud!
------------- Best Regards
David

can anyone clarify who's done it, travelling from the UK, is it 3 months or 4 months prior to your travelling date, that you have to rabies blood titre test?
You do NOT have to have a rabies blood test to come to France, It's only for pets.
Just re-read my previous post - I was meaning to make the point that time needs to be allowed in case the test result antibody count doesn’t reach the threshold, in which case a further vaccine, a further month wait to test and a 3 month wait following receipt of a successful test.
I must have been having a senior moment because it wasn’t evident even to me and I wrote the post!!
Wouldn’t it be fun if the people had to be tested for rabies!! mgbtv8?

Sorry you had a stressful day. No probs with the post. Just think if they took human temperatures at the doctors the same way the vet takes the dogs? I bet the waiting rooms would be a lot quieter - you might even be able to get an appointment
In the event of no-deal, dogs will also require a fitness to travel certificate to re-enter the UK, issued in the EU, within 10 days of the travel date:
Return to the UK
Your pet must have one of the following documents when returning to the UK:
an existing EU pet passport (both for UK and EU citizens)
the EU health certificate issued in the UK used to travel to the EU
a UK pet health certificate (issued outside the UK for travel into the UK only)
