Hi Beenie. Not been there before. This will be the furthest North that we have camped in France. Looking at the site on Google Earth there does appear to be a fair bit of shade. Have read some good reviews about the site.

Hi Allie, it's the furthest north we've camped too. Usually we go to the Loire Valley, Bordeaux region or the Dordogne, but I've got sick of the intense heat in those areas (up in the high 30s for the past few years). I want a sea breeze this year!
When are you going? We will be there around 21 June, and will probably stay a week. Haven't booked anything, we just play it by ear.

Thank you for all the posts...
We have decided to stay at Camping Pors Peron!
Thanks again
Darren
We've stayed at Pors Peron, it's a nice little site with some nice walks around the cliffs, a word of warning though, the undertow at the main beach can be quite vicious if the waves are in the right direction. There is a quieter, more sheltered little cove adjacent to that one but I'm not sure how easy access is to it.
