Camping Bellevue near Hautefort is a lovely small site run by English, just 10 or so pitches, a small pool, a view of the Chateua and lovely meals available. Bread etc delivered to you in the morning. Lovely villages nearby. Look up reviews here

Based purely on the advice of users of this forum when I asked for inspiration back in January, we'll be travelling to the Dordogne next week and staying for 7 nights at Camping Le Paradis at St Leon sur Vezere.

We've never been there before but understand that the site has indoor and outdoor pools. We'll report back on our return
