The campsite in question is called Charlottenlund so just be careful if you decide to visit as compassion is not something they have, it's more Profit Centered.

Yep, we had to cancel our Frejus campsite booking back in 2016 having paid 100€ deposit back in 2015.

The reason was my elderly father had become seriously ill, which also meant that we could not go in 2017 either.

We returned to the same campsite last summer, and amazingly they honoured the 100€ deposit from over two years ago, how brilliant was that I thought.

So maybe OP’s campsite could carry the booking over to next year, worth an ask I guess.
