We're looking at spending a few days here mid-June and will be approaching from Luxembourg. Looking at the map and route planners I am unsure of the best "final approach" from the motorway, with caravan in tow and a dog who is not keen on twisty roads.
Would we be better to carry on the motorway to Trier, then cross the river and follow the B51 past Konz or would we be okay to leave the A1 in Luxembourg at J13, cross over the bridge into Germany and follow the B419 along the river to Konz before picking up the B51?
Or is there another, better route?
