Does anyone use a 2016 onwards Hyundai Tucson to tow abroad and specifically have a tag for toll barriers on Peages?
Instructions for the tag are to stick them on the spotty area in the middles of the windscreen behind the mirror.
On my car this area is not available as the mirror and its housing covers the whole thing.
Will it work if I stick it to the window as close as possible to the spotty area or must I stick it to the plastic housing of the mirror which covers the spotty bit?
If anyone can answer this I’d be very grateful. Otherwise its go to France and try it but I’d hate to find out at a Peage barrier that it doesn’t work!

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
Instead, as we approach the toll booth "detector" I get my wife to wave the tag around the windscreen until it activates the barrier!
It saves sticking anything on the windscreen and has the added benefit of "in-seat" exercise for my wife and a good excuse for me to wake her up occasionally.
I have said this on here before but mine fell off the adhesive holder and went down between the bottom of the windscreen and the dashboard - - it still worked but we had to fish it out with tweezers.

Thanks for the info chaps - will try ‘as close as possible to the spotty bit’ approach and see where that gets us!
I do like the aerobic exercise for the wife option suggested by thechief - getting her to wave it around would be the next option if the above doesn’t work!

Just make sure you pull close to the barrier, the tags don’t activate until you are quite close.
Yes do. On our first trip we stopped by the ticket machine and, as the barrier didn't seem to work, took a ticket. We managed the claim the money back, but it took a while.

When do you leave? We've got a 2019 Tucson and will be testing toll tag placements out on the 17th! Let me know if you have any issues!

I can confirm that placing tag next to plastic housing on drivers side works perfectly fine at the booths.
