Just back from a great tour - in to Bilbao, home from Rotterdam and obviously next year's planning has commenced.
We really enjoyed a 2017 & 18 visit to this site but skipped this year as we went to La Sousta as our riverside site to see the TdF instead. Both our boys said they preferred Les Rivages to La Sousta and but wished it had waterslides.
Cue a Facebook post from Les Rivages this morning saying they are adding to the pool and putting in some slides for 2020. Guess that's on the route list then!
Also said they are going to Yelloh group - what's people's view on this? Likely to make much difference??

We Like yelloh group, we used to use cote de nacre when it was yelloh village, and it was very well mantained. It has since been taken over by Sandaya, and since then it seems to get a bit more neglected each year, with trees needing trimmed, grass getting longer and toilet blocks getting closed. We have stopped going there as it was quite sad seeing it getting run down
We were at La Sousta for the Tdf this year, (16th to 26th) We do not normally go to large sites like that, but we really enjoyed the site and was quite impressed, to the extent we stayed longer than planned, admittedly we do not have children.
There was an element of Double Standards through, as la Sousta Promotes themselves as "Nature Camping" and Recycling is Compulsary etc and yet during Happy hour they insisted on serving drinks in Single use Plastic Cups, which I found a little unnecessary.
Les Rivages is a great site, we would use it again if they continue to take ACSI!
Being retired we avoid high season.
Just booked ferries for our late August early September return trip!
