Has anyone ever stayed at the camp site in the town of Moraira? ( half way between Valencia and Alicante).
I can’t seem to find any references to it on this site or in the reviews or forum chats.
I’d be delighted to get any reviews and advice.
Thanks in advance.
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
Bear in mind that quite a bit of this area has suffered really badly in the recent floods. Some facilities may still be affected into next year from what I have seen and heard.
------------- Freedom is a light caravan and an open road.
I stayed there about 15 years ago, pitches were small and it had quite a few long stayers there. The pitch sizes for caravans is between 30 and 50 sq metres
It wasn't my cup of tea I only stayed 2 nights.
Just had a look at their website and it looks better on there than in the flesh than it was when I stayed there.

Stayed there for 2 nights this year, I agree the pitches are a bit on the small side. Our Motorhome is 7.3m long and we were lucky to find a pitch that was suitable, the site is ok though.
Stroll into the town takes about 15-20 minutes plenty of bars and restaurants, the nearest bars etc to the site is about 5 minutes.
You have to be careful navigating the site as there are quite a lot of trees but they were well kept. Small restaurant and bar on site but certainly usable, nice pleasant people.
Agree that the WiFi only works near the reception
Not sure of your route or where you are heading but we “did Spain” this year May and June. The pitches on all the sites were generally smaller than what we are used to in France apart from camping Los Madrilles at Isla Plana just below Murcia which had lovely pitches and the most amazing pool which emptied and filled every night and at a temp of 30c we couldn’t keep out of it. The site we stayed on for Valencia was Altomira which was about 60 Kms away and not somewhere I really enjoyed, I didn’t really enjoy Valencia apart from the amazing science and Arts museums and the Tapas. For us the best region was the Sierra Nevada and The Picos in the north. Sorry but that’s no help with your question on this particular site but enjoy Spain, lots of lovely places to see.
