We have only stayed in the area once and we stayed at the other end of the lake from the town at Camping La Ravoire. It was a lovely site right on the cycle path and just opposite the lake. We had a great time and would definitely go back again.

We stayed at camping Lac Bleu in Doussard.
There are fantastic views of the lake from there and in June you even get a lakeside pitch.
It at the far end of the lake from Anne you town but a traffic free cycle path is accessible directly opposite to take you there.

We stayed at Lac Bleu last September. Views of the lake are fabulous. We emailed with dates to see what pitches they had available and then chose from camp plan on website. Staff were helpful Pitches are not huge though but we have a 7.4m caravan and managed. We were 1 row back from lakeside and had uninterrupted view.hope this helps.
