I'd like to avoid the Mont Blanc tunnel and Turin tunnel as they are adding +£80 to my travels!
Can I use the same TAG for the Payage in France/Mt Blanc/Turin to spread the cost to the next month?
Any other thoughts or advice appreciated.
To add a bit of context, I've done the drive from Ageles to NW England in a single day with the tunnel as rest. Love driving in France so the times don't worry me.
Many Thanks in Advance

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
Are you towing a caravan, or driving solo? I would say your timings are ambitious but then I wouldn't want to cram things into such a short timescale. I'm sure you'll do it anyway, and perhaps enjoy it, but some things are worth more than just ticking them off on a list of 'Been there, done that......'.
The one good thing (perhaps) is that you're not trying to do it over what would be one of the busiest weekends in France when much of France is on the move south for their holidays. But traffic will be busy anyway, especially as you get further south, as it's peak weeks for the French to be away. Riviera traffic might make your trip into Monte Carlo a stop/start/stop/start affair.
they dont fall enroute to Marseille and i dont think you will have time for a diversion to switzerland or italy....and remember if iin Switzerland you could need the vingnette which costs minimum $50 for 1 year. (a road tax of the motorways)
time wise, diving a Nissan Navarra solo i have driven from worcester to Ardriers near limoges in one day. thats about 670 miles. and takes 11h without stopping for anything other than, chamnnel tunnel, fuel coffee and ....gillet jaunts.
but otherwise enjoy your trip.

Does anyone know if I need a vignette to 'cut the corner' through Geneva on route from Reims to Chamonix? Or am I better going a slightly longer route?
Cheers

Afaik you don’t need a vignette unless you use the motorways in Switzerland so with a lot of planning you could probably do it. However if you take the A39 from Dijon and then the A40 from Bourg en Bresse direct to Chamonix it would be much quicker and simpler.
