Hello all we have booked a site in Amsterdam for July but someone said it’s in the lez zone so won’t be able to drive my 2000 diesel camper there . Tried researching this but more confused than ever now . Can anyone help please

I had a look at Amsterdam.nl.
There you find a map of the lez, so you can check if the site lies within.

And they have an information line:
„Call us at 14 020
Monday to Friday from 08.00 to 18.00.
(From abroad: +31 20 624 1111)“

if the camper is registered as a passenger car and not as a company car and after 1-1-2000 has been registered you can travel anywhere until 1 Nov 2020. In Amsterdam.
