But 14 day quarantine might be the end of it
anyway. Still loathe to cancel just yet as would be disappointed if all OK by late July and we no lonGer have a ticket. Need to take some action next week though as balance is due to ferry.

Yes, caravan, couple 71 and 67.
Paid insurance in January, booked Tunnel in February.
We are due to cross to France on September 10th, returning end of October.
Current quarantine arrangements to be reviewed every 3 weeks, so i am hoping quarantine arrangements lifted by then.
Like others, we use most of our own facilities on site, and enjoy doing ‘outdoor things’.
Supermarket shopping will be where we will feel most vulnerable, so we will take extra care.
By the time we go I am hoping that number of people with the virus is very low, so the risk is also very low.
Yes
Caravan
Planning to travel THROUGH France as got a booking at Amfora in August. Had pretty much resigned to not going but they keep emailing to say they WILL be open, and the prime ministers (Spanish) statement re July 1st opening to foreign tourists means I am now (very) cautiously optimistic. All the quarantines in uk, France etc are reviewable every 3 weeks - can’t see them lasting into August personally.
Spoke with her indoors and we’ve agreed if we can go we will. Family of 4 with 2 daughters under 10. Our caravan has an onboard water tank so hoping to get thru France with extremely minimal contact (stay on aires overnight, eurotunnel not ferry, only need to refill diesel).
I have worked throughout this period as classed as key worker. It’s all about minimising risk which isn’t actually that hard to do.
Will use own toilet and shower on site and use beach not pool. We are not oblivious to all this; we have lost 2 close friends to covid but they both had underlying conditions that meant they would be lucky to see another 2 years.
To summarise, if we can go we will.
