Hi, I was originally due to travel to the Alps in early July but have to change my plans as my husband cant do the 2 weeks quarantine when we get home due to work.
My flights and car hire cannot be refunded but can be changed, so I was considering a caravan rentals for early Sept. Will all the campsites be dead? I dont need lively but a few other people about at least.
Just myself, husband and 20 month old travelling. We will consider anywhere, nice weather, a caravan site with a playground and some cafes/restaurants within walking distance. I am thinking south of France, Italy, Croatia, Portugal etc.
We are flying out of Dublin on Irish passports so UK quarantine rules when we arrive in countries will hopefully not apply.
Any suggestions welcome.

The quarantine rule will be ended soon, its more of an issue waiting to see if the foreign office change their advice.
In September lots of sites will still be renting out static rentals but big sites tend to close their facilities, mid September.
I was just about to say Lake Garda too. We went in Sept a few years back and it was hot and very busy. The Lakeside site we stayed at had lots of different accommodation.
