Just a warning to check ferry prices carefully if booking through a 3rd party.
This year we booked our ferry crossing with Brittany Ferries through the Camping and Caravanning Club at their discounted price. Due to COVID the crossing was cancelled and we received a redemption voucher against a crossing for next year. Prices have risen dramatically and we have just been contacted by the C&C Club and given the cost for a crossing next year. The new price is the same as if we had booked directly with Brittany Ferries. However, those who booked directly with BF for this year were offered a 20% discount for re-booking before 31st July, but this was not available to us. In effect, even accounting for last year's discount, booking through the C&C Club has cost more than if we had booked direct.
If you are booking a Brittany Ferries crossing for next year through a 3rd party check your prices, as at present the discounts appear to be negligible and if there are cancellations next year you may not get the same benefits.

As well as price it's worth looking into the flexibility of ticketing. Some people are already booking ferries for next summer (although that's surely not necessary) but for those who do want to make that purchase a flexible ticket direct from the ferry company seems a sensible choice.

The Brittany Ferries discount was only for bookings made before 31st July, I believe.

It seems to be still on offer. I just had a e mail from them saying up to 20% off for travel to France between 18 August and 31 October - but book by 21 August 2020.

I received the email but this is not the refund voucher discount which could be used for next year's bookings. Bookings had to be made by July 31st.

I’ve just booked using my voucher and also a code from an email giving me either 20% off a ferry to France or 15% off to Spain. On some of the Facebook forums people are highlighting that the tickets booked through the clubs are being cancelled but if they go online they can book a place on the same ferry. It’s an easy explanation, the ferries are cancelling tickets booked through the clubs because they can sell the same slot to the general public for more money, it’s called business!
