In Calpe, Camping Calpemar, at the moment there is 16 foreign registered vehicles on site, 4 of them Brits. This time of year the snowbirds start trickling in, only 1 confirmed as yet.[Dutch] Site is 60% empty, Spanish making up the majority, the schools open next week so expecting a mass exodus this coming weekend. Bit concerend about the campsite staying open with so few on site, they say they are going to stay open, they also said that in March this year!!!! Called in at Benecasim on the way down, same story as here. Round town some pubs and shops have gone to the wall, but there has been a couple of start ups.
Got to wear a mask on the street, quite amazed how quickly it became the norm, about 95% compliance mask wise. Had a look at the street market Saturday, almost empty, am surprised traders bothered turning up.
Going to be a strange and painful year for a lot of people, stay safe.
