Anyone been there, in April or anytime. Roses, looks very nice on street view, anyone got an opinion about Roses.

Roses is very nice. We stayed there for a week and plenty to do around the area.

Yes. Interesting area & well worth a visit. We stopped in France near the border but took a few day trips around the area. It is a good drive to go from Perpignan around the edge of the coast & into Spain then head around the coast & over the hills to Roses which is nice but very busy & crowded when we went.

To make a day of it we went back via Figueres & Le Perthus on the border which is worth a walk around if you like eating & shopping.

We go in April to L’Estarit which is not far away. The weather is usually lovely and campsite and resorts are not too busy. April and Sept/ Oct perfect times to visit.

Know L'Estartit well, stayed on La Sirena a few times, but it does not open until May I think.
