We were booked for June, but will also have to defer. It will be interesting to see what state France is in this time next year. According to the news reports today, the French have an inert distrust of vaccines of any sort - including flu jabs. Except they can swerve the flu to an extent. Lets hope they see sense and protect themselves while there are still plenty of them upright. Otherwise god knows where the country will end up.
I was talking to a friend of mine recently who was born in France but moved here some years ago. She has many relatives still in France and she was saying that things there at the moment are awful. Infection rates are rising rapidly, and loads of people still haven't been vaccinated for one reason or another. She was very worried for her family. From the things she was saying it's not a place I would be wanting to go anywhere near as things are at the moment, so I hope they soon get their act together.
