I take it you mean from the UK?
And that is too expensive, had it done this week.
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!

Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.

I've been looking at prices for travel from the UK (animal health certificate) and it's averaging at about £100, what I can't find out is what type of certificate you need to travel back to the UK for worming and examination, anyone know if there is a dedicated space on the AHC or do the European vets have a separate form to fill in?

No separate form that I'm aware of, will need to look through all the pages of the AHC.
You can use, if you still have it, the old Pet Passport for coming back. Ironic isn't it!

It wasn't all that many years ago that if you brought a dog into the UK it had to go into quarantine for a period to make sure it didn't have rabies. I can't now remember for how long but I am sure it must have cost a few bob keeping it in kennels.

If I remember right Bob, the period of quarantine was 6 months. Must have cost a fortune and been quite distressing for both dog and owners.

So it's looking like the Pet Passport is far from being obsolete but very much valid to return to the UK

There is a petition to the UK Government for the Pet Passport to be brought back. At the moment we're required to have our vet complete a form similar to those which are used for 'livestock' being exported!
Link to the petition for bringing back the Pet Passport
Please pass this link on to any of your friends who travel with their pets.
