A big problem.
Isolate in France for ten days - presumably on a quiet rural campsite - then re test and re book travel.
But I’m afraid I have no knowledge of worming treatment for dogs or how you get food while isolating.

lizzie, the two questions that you ask is something I have looked at and can't find a clear answer
On the first question the official Govt guidelines are-
"If your test result is positive, you must not travel. You must follow local rules and guidance for positive coronavirus cases. If the result is inconclusive, you must take another test"
Now, this poses a couple of problems, where do you go? and what do you say when you get there? a local campsite is hardly going to welcome you with open arms if you turn up and say I've just tested positive for Covid, can I isolate here until I test negative?
So, now we have a moral dilemma, do I just turn up and keep schtum? only you can answer that one, not a problem if you're in a motorhome, you can disappear for a while
On the second question, I can't find any information anywhere on how long after the first tapeworm treatment can you have a second, can the dog overdose? do you have to have a second dose? I don't know and can't find out, I will ask a vet one day, it must happen all the time though with cars breaking down or other problems and missing the ferry/tunnel so I can't see it being a problem for a second vet visit asap

Surely you would actually be staying on a site, on route home, when you went for your test?
Then there would be a moral dilemma, do you tell them or just ask for extra nights.
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.

I know Nowt about dogs. Therefore that pat is out for me.
On the part re; testing positive.
One would assume that if The French government is allowing you in, then they would assist with quarantine facilities, if you test positive. Maybe just like the folks having to be put up in Hotel isolation here in the UK. Probably at your own costs tho...
Hopefully, NOT hospitalised or even worse!

Our plan is to take some of the NHS lateral flow tests with us and test ourselves before going for our "official" test for travelling home. If we do test positive we'll hole up on an unmanned/automated aire somewhere (I've already bookmarked a couple) until we test negative and can travel home. I appreciate that this is much easier for MHs than tents or caravans.
We're both taking our work laptops with us as well just in case, though given we tend to keep to ourselves most of the time I think the chances of us contracting Covid are slim. Still, you never know and it doesn't hurt to be prepared....

In 2017 we broke down heading north and were stuck in France for a number of days (thank you Red Pennant for rescuing us!). In the meantime, the dog's treatment (done at a previous night halt) had run out. Once we knew when we would be able to travel home the campsite arranged for a visit to a local vet and all was done again. No one mentioned time scales between treatments and the dogs were fine.
