What ferry route are you taking? If Dover then little difference in prices booking well in advance or just a few days before travel ime. Special offers are just a distant memory but if things do really start to normalise next year then they may reappear so I would hold off booking until nearer the time.
To get any offers register for emails on the ferry websites.
Unfortunately the days of discount codes are over I think, certainly at the moment. Eurotunnel prices are at a premium. I was shocked when I looked at the 'proper' prices (ie not Frequent Traveller) for travel during the next couple of weeks.
Come back the 'sharing the code' frenzy which used to take place when Ferry companies announced their discount codes at the Caravan Show in November!
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
With Brittany Ferries Rich, you can use a members code to get 10% off Bookings, Depending on where you are looking to go in France,

Yep, you’re not wrong val. We had a return booked for august, booked in January, 4 people car plus 8m caravan, £450 return. We cancelled it due to Indian vaccine, and got ferry to Santander. Just looked at a one way to get home on Sunday: £600 ONE WAY!!!!
No thanks; going home Bilbao to Portsmouth for £900 😀

Yesterday had a look at prices for BF for June/July 2022.
We have regularly saved around 50% of the BF fare using CMC when travelling on the Plymouth/Roscoff route.
Yesterday I did a check for 2022-sadly the savings are no more-in fact booking just the ferry is more than direct with BF despite a price match promise.
For almost identical dates, and same out for & crossing, my 2019 crossing was £355 and next year it will be £632.
Its possible prices will drop but, having just the ended a 26 night UK tour we have really enjoyed, that makes the increase even more noticeable.
Option B of using Harwich in order to visit Dutch friends enroute and then the Ferne & Reina passes, or maybe via Innsbruck, is much cheaper at £190 for the ferry only.
