jUST Had a short break in Jersey, when we landed the Virgin Mobile network we are with, would not work, After calling in a local phone shop, they said Virgin does not work on the island,
The dreaded txt then came through from Virgin to say all calls made were 30p minute & TXT 15p per minute,
Jersey being part of the British isles this was unexpected, have now decided to look elsewhere for a mobile phone company that are not going to jump on the Brexit bandwagon, would any of you kind people on here, be able to recommend a decent sim only company in the uk, that are not likely to start charging, for using your mobile data outside of the UK

That's odd.
Me and my wife have lived in France for the last three years and still have the virgin contracts we had when we lived in the UK and don't incur any extra charges.
Every month I get a text from Virgin welcoming me to France and stating that because we're in the EU we pay the normal tariff.
I wonder if it's because Jersey isn't in the EU?
