The Camping and Caravanning Club came in MUCH cheaper for me (you don't have to be a member to get insurance through them).

we use Groupama in France for our static. you can pay on line.
as an example, when we first took put insurance about 15 years ago in the Uk for our static in France, it cost around £250 for a van worth around £15k, we now pay Groupama under 200 Euros for a static worth around £24k

I don't think they insure caravans which are stored in France, or certainly didn't when we enquired some years ago.
We insure with Towergate and our renewal for 2021/2022 went through without problems in mid-September. And no increase in price either!
