Our Brittany Ferries crossing this summer is significantly cheaper than the original booking was for 2020. We have moved to midweek crossings though. This is going Plymouth-Roscoff and back and it's just a car.
Other threads seem to suggest that taking a caravan Dover-Calais has gone up a lot.
Hi, Can only speak about our bookings. We are in Cornwall and our usual route is Plymouth to Roscoff.
Our last crossing in 2019 was £355. This included £80 of site vouchers so the ferry portion was £275-this years booking, for near identical crossings and same outfit is £632, so £552 for the ferry.
The cheapest crossings are with DFDS from Newhaven and Stena from Harwich.

Prices on the direct ferry routes from Ireland to France/Spain have increased so I am investigating landbridge routes for myself.
Irish Ferries will quote you for a two part landbridge route - Dublin toHolyhead and then Dover to Calais - they have ships on both those routes. Then compare it with their direct Dublin to Cherbourg crossing. They are the people for you to ask
