We went Dover/Calais on DFDS on 24th March and the French kiosk at Dover omly wanted our passports, I offered him our sworn statements and proof of vaccinations and he just waved them away.
I should add that we were due back on the 5th April but had to come back today as my father-in-law was not well and my wife wanted to return earlier to see him. DFDS charged me £66 for the alteration to my ticket!
My wife and I just back from France, Plymouth-Roscoff. Certainly no need for the Sworn Statement.
With regard to the Blue Badge, my wife is disabled, we had no issue using it. I even asked a very, very helpful Gendarme in Morlaix, he said no problem at all. Not sure if that is the official line, but we had no issues using it. Anyone know why the Blue Badge topic has been closed, have I missed something, I thought it very important for disabled people to know the situation.
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
