I can’t see anything clear on the DFDS website about gas cylinders does anyone know if you’re allowed to carry Campingaz 907 in a car boot please? Also do people carry petrol Jerry cans? Thanks

We ensure the gas cylinder in the van is switched off before moving off.
Never had any issues.They are secure in the van gas compartment. We don't carry jerricans.
I am sure lots of campers carry Campinggaz cylinders.

On Brittany Ferries you can carry a maximum of 5 litres of diesel or petrol in a sealed container specifically designed for fuel.
On P&O you aren't allowed to carry either diesel or petrol or even empty containers,the same applies to DFDS ferries.
