Good lady and I are travelling down the west coast from Cherbourg to La Rochelle this coming week. Looking for an overnight campsite stop between Nantes and La Rochelle handy to the A83 or D763. We usually travel down the coast but heading straight for Royan this year.

Have a look at the website for Camping le Relais des Garennes at Montbert and see if that’s the sort of place you like as much as we do. No reviews on here but you can find others in other places
But a quick look at the website says not open till 1 June so better contact them and see if that’s correct for this year, or whether that was for COVID year.
